Help!!
|
Can you help?
We are working on a book about Airdrie which will be a
Heritage Trail round the town and villages. To do this we
need lots of photographs of local streets and buildings in the
past. Could any visitors look out old photos from the backs of
drawers and attics and contact me if they can help. We can copy
photographs and return them to owners. Thanks for your help.

We meet every month between September
and April in the Pilgrim Church at the corner of Cairnhill Road
and Victoria Place, Airdrie. Our meetings are at 7.30pm on the
third Tuesdays of these months. We have a varied programme of
speakers who talk about times gone by. It is very informal and we
end up with a cup of tea. |

About us!
|
We are a group of amateurs who are
interested in our local area and who would like to explore it's
past. We have recently completed research to make a Heritage Trail
of Airdrie Town Centre using old photographs of buildings, some no
longer in existence. This is being produced on CD-Rom for
computers and will be used in local schools. We hope to extend
this in the future.
We also produce our own magazine: The Raddle
